Davidson concerned about digital vaccination cards

Professor of  Public Health, Winston Davidson, has cautioned the Health Ministry about the issuing of  digital vaccination cards.

Davidson argues that recent reports of  incorrect information on the manual cards is unacceptable and should be addressed before the digital cards are provided.

He voiced concern asHealth Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton recently announced that the government is working to have digital vaccine cards issued to Jamaicans within the next three months.

He said Jamaica is collaborating with a number of  international partners on the cards.

 Tufton disclosed that the cards would be modeled off  those in developed countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and the European Union.
