Defence attorneys in the One Don Gang trial are again calling for the Minister of Justice to review their compensation package.
One of the attorneys who spoke with Radio Jamaica News explained that members of the defence team are paid only when they appear in court.
The rate is $7,500 per sitting.
The trial has been adjourned for seven weeks and will resume on May 2.
During the adjournment of the trial, the attorneys will have to analyse data and visit their clients for discussions.
One of the attorneys described the situation as unfair.
She disclosed that whenever the trial is adjourned, all parties in the matter except defence attorneys are paid.
