The female District Constable who was listed as a person of interest in the disappearance of Donna-Lee Donaldson, was questioned on Wednesday by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).

Her attorney, Oswest Senior-Smith, told Radio Jamaica News that his client was extensively interviewed for several hours and asked "over 250" questions.

He said she was asked to "fill in the blanks" regarding her whereabouts on specific days as well as the whereabouts "of others".

Radio Jamaica News understands that the female cop was questioned about the whereabouts of Constable Noel Maitland on the day Miss Donaldson went missing.

She was also shown CCTV footage obtained by investigators.

Last week, Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey said the district constable has not been linked to Miss Donaldson's disappearance.

Constable Maitland was charged on Tuesday with the murder of the social media personality, who was his girlfriend.

Miss Donaldson was reported missing on July 13, two days after went to visit Constable Maitland at his St. Andrew apartment.

The police said the missing person's investigation turned into a murder probe based on the evidence they have collected.
