The police say they have identified five suspects in relation to Sunday's shooting of seven persons in Dam Road Square, Montego Bay, St. James.

The men are from May Pen, Clarendon and Flanker and Spring Mount in St. James.

Dennis Brooks, Senior Communication Strategist for the Jamaica Constabulary Force, said the five men should report to the police by 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.

It was reported that about 2:40 Sunday afternoon, men armed with high powered rifles and handguns fired shots at men who were at a car wash.

Four of them were injured.

An off-duty policewoman who was nearby, responded to the incident. She reportedly shot at the gunmen and they returned gunfire and fled in a car.

Their getaway car reportedly collided with another vehicle. The gunmen then fired shots at those passengers, injuring three of them.
