The four men charged in connection with the shooting and hostage situation in Spalding, Clarendon last week were remanded when they appeared before the Gun Court in Kingston on Thursday.
They are to return to court on February 27 next year.
The men were charged on Thursday with possession of prohibited weapon; unauthorised possession of ammunition; shooting with intent; wounding with intent and using a prohibited weapon to commit a felony.
Those charged are 26-year-old Andre Shim-Hue, otherwise called "3D" or "Brown man"; 28-year-old Toney Kelly, otherwise called "Scobie" or "Poochie"; 28-year-old Romaine Dockery, otherwise called "Fungo"; and 29-year-old Shevon Cargnagie, all from Clarendon.
The charges stem from an incident in Spalding Square on December 8 during which the men engaged the police in a gun battle that escalated into a standoff for several hours at a supermarket.
