Prime Minister-designate for Haiti, Steven Irvenson Benoit, resigned from the political transition group that aims to move the country out of its crises.
Mr Benoit made the announcement via a tweet recently.
He was selected in January 2021 by a Haitian civil society partnership.
His departure is another setback for Haiti that appears stuck since the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse in July 2021.
Currently, Haiti has no elected official in the country.
