Holness says NIDS a priority for current administration

Prime Minister Andrew Holness has said the pursuit of a national identification system will be among the list of things to be achieved by his administration in the current term.
He said the National Identification System (NIDS) will allow Jamaicans greater convenience in transacting business and accessing government services and benefits.
Mr. Holness said his administration will also seek to upgrade critical infrastructure and digitise all government services.
