The Industrial Disputes Tribunal (IDT) has intervened in the dispute between the Air Traffic Controllers and the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA) which has led to the suspension of flights.

The IDT has invited the Jamaica Air Traffic Controllers Association and the JCAA to an emergency meeting at 2 o'clock.

The air traffic controllers have taken industrial action to have the JCAA address problems with the aeronautical system.
