The police are continuing their investigation into a suspected criminal network involving the four men arrested in connection with Friday's robbery at a supermarket in Porus Manchester.

Sources told Radio Jamaica News that other suspects are likely to be arrested in the investigation.

Five persons were shot, two fatally, as the gunmen fired several shots upon leaving the scene of the robbery.

The supermarket operator, Jin Sian Ye, and Alphanso Cohen died after being hit by bullets.

About 7:30 in the evening, the gunmen entered Jin Sian Ye Supermarket on main street, Porus and robbed Mr Jin and his customers of an undetermined sum of money.

The four men involved in the robbery were apprehended in nearby Williamsfield. Three illegal firearms - a high powered rifle, a pistol and a revolver and ammunition - were seized. The police also seized a ballistic vest.
