The Caymanian police have confirmed that a man who died in a single-vehicle collision in Grand Cayman last Saturday was Jamaican.
He has been identified as 48 year old Eric Sherman.
It was reported that a car in which Mr. Sherman was travelling crashed into a concrete column.
According to Caymanian media, the crash occurred shortly after Mr. Sherman left the scene of a fight in which he was assaulted.
