And a Jamaican woman was shot dead on the weekend in West Palm Beach, Florida. She has been identified as 41-year-old Amaria Grant.
According to the Palm Beach Post newspaper, residents of the normally quiet waterfront community are seeking answers after the Jamaican was killed Saturday afternoon while riding a bicycle.
Miss Grant was shot three times in the head.
Reports are that she worked as a nanny for a family that had taken her from Jamaica.
The West Palm Beach police said the shooter remains at large and it had not been ascertained what prompted the deadly attack.
Witnesses told the police that the man approached Miss Grant and appeared to know her.
Investigators say the two argued before the shooting.
The gunman then ran off.
