A man who was wanted for last month's fatal shooting of a security guard in St. Thomas has been charged with murder.
Peter Walker, who is implicated in the death of 59 year old security guard Wayne Campbell, was apprehended on Saturday in the St. Andrew Central Police area.
He is to appear before the St. Thomas Parish court on Friday.
The police reported that about 10:35 p.m. on July 4, Mr. Campbell was standing with a group of men outside a shop in West Albion when he was shot.
He died at hospital.
