The Ministry of Education has completed the preliminary analysis of the diagnostic tests that were done by students last month.

The tests were to assess student performance following the abrupt end to the previous academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Kasan Troupe, Chief Education Officer (Acting), said the results will be further discussed before being shared with schools.

She said the National Oversight PEP Committee will meet on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.

"We will present the outcome of the diagnostic tests and the proposal for PEP going forward for further deliberation with the key stakeholders and then our minister will ratify and the information will be shared with our schools and parents. So, we are very advanced in the process and a proposal has been developed, has been reviewed already by our minister and permanent secretary," she explained while responding to questions Wednesday at the Post Cabinet media briefing.
