Head of the Constabulary Communication Network, CCN, Deputy Superintendent Steve Brown said the suspicion of the police was aroused after Friday's operation.

Police officers assisited by Soldiers from the Jamaica Defence Force used a back hoe  and they also found two 50 calibre weapons, over 600 rounds of  7.62 ammunition, no arrest was made in connection with this find” he said.

The weapons were carefully greased, securely wrapped in truck tubing and hidden in a drum which was buried in a partially finished house.
