Prime Minister announces new Cabinet

Prime Minister Andrew Holness named the members of the new Cabinet of Jamaica a short while ago at King's House.

Before the portfolio assignments were announced, the members of the Cabinet and junior ministers were sworn-in by Governor General Sir Patrick Allen.

The full list of Cabinet members and other members of the Executive are as follows:

1. Andrew Holness – Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Economic Growth & Job Creation
2. Dr Horace Anthony Chang – Minister Without Portfolio (OPM)
3. Daryl Wesley Phillip Vaz – Minister Without Portfolio (OPM)
4. Derrick Smith – Minister Without Portfolio (OPM)
5. Audley Fitz-Albert Shaw – Finance & Public Service
6. Robert Montague – National Security
7. Delroy Aubyn Chuck – Justice
