The police and military along with scores of civilians on Saturday morning resumed the search for nine year-old Phylisa Prussia who was abducted from her home in Bath, St Thomas on Thursday evening.
The search resumed at 5 o'clock.
Commanding Officer for the St Thomas Police Division, Superintendent Allison Byfield, told Radio Jamaica News that a number of tips were received on Friday from members of the public that Phylisa's abductor had been spotted but he has not yet been found.
Superintendent Byfield is appealing for persons with information on the whereabouts of Phylisa's abductor to contact the authorities.
The search for Phylisa was extended to Portland on Friday with help from the Jamaica Defence Force Air Wing.
