The police say the road between Colgate to Moneague in St. Ann, which was blocked by protesting residents, has been cleared.
The thoroughfare was discovered blocked about 2 o'clock Tuesday morning.
Radio Jamaica News was told that motorists and residents protested the poor state of the road, especially the section in Walkerswood.
A team from the St. Ann Fire Department cleared the roadblocks.
The police are monitoring the situation.
