Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Terrence Drew has reaffirmed his government's commitment to advancing education and workforce training.
Dr. Drew says this will be achieved through strategic investments in digital transformation and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
He says there are significant upgrades planned for the Advanced Vocational Education Centre, with a focus on integrating cutting-edge technology into its training programmes.
This, he says, will include the integration of immersive simulators which utilise virtual reality technology to simulate real-world training experiences while promoting the efficient use of resources.
This technology is designed to shorten the learning curve and enhance operators' skills to dramatically increase productivity and decrease energy consumption by 50 per cent.
