Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley has tested positive for COVID-19 for a second time.
A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister said Dr. Rowley returned a positive result on Friday morning.
He is experiencing mild symptoms and will remain in isolation.
Dr. Rowley's office said he is fully-vaccinated and has received two boosters.
The Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister first tested positive for COVID-19 in April last year.
The virus has killed 4,046 people and infected 171,000 in the twin island republic since March 2020.
