An editorial note.  

In a TVJ Prime Time Sports story aired last Sunday about Usain Bolt sacking Norman Peart as his business manager, some viewers may have inferred that the separation was linked to Mr. Bolt's current difficulties with Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL).
 
This, despite the story stating that the separation occurred in late 2022.
 
TVJ wishes to make it clear that the amicable separation of Mr. Peart and Mr. Bolt preceded the SSL saga by several weeks.
 
The two events are not linked.
 
In fact, the story had said Mr. Peart was also a victim of the SSL fraud.
 
TVJ regrets any embarrassment caused to Mr. Peart.
