Brathwaite and Narine win ESPN awards

West Indians Sunil Narine, Carlos Brathwaite and Hayley Matthews were among the winners at Friday's espn cricinfo awards.

Brathwaite took the T-20 batting performance for 2016 for his match winning 34 not out which included 4 sixes in the World T-20 final against England. Brathwaite beat fellow West Indian Marlon Samuels and India's Virat Kohli to the award.

Narine took home the award for best ODI bowling performance of 2016 for his 6-27 against South Africa in the tri nation series in the Caribbean which also involved Australia. He beat out the likes of South Africa's Imran Tahir to the top award. 

Matthews took the women's T-20 batting award for her 68 in the World T-20 final against Australia.

Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh won the best T-20 bowling accolade while fellow Bangladeshi Mehedi Hasa was named debutant of the year.

South Africa's Quinton de Kock won the best ODI batting award while England's Ben Stokes and Stuart Broad  won best test batting award and best test bowling award respectively.
