Jamaica will for the first time, have a para-athlete compete in the Grand Prix meet which will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil this week-end. Shane Hudson, a medallist in the T47 400 metre International Games, will represent Jamaica in that event. Hudson will leave the island on Wednesday.
Meanwhile para athlete Santana Campbell is continuing to bask in her success after breaking the Americas record on three occasions in the javelin throw at last weekend's UTech Track and Field Classic.
The mark sees Campbell qualifying for the IPC World Para Athletics Championship in London in July.
