ISSA reveals date for "Champs 2020"

President of the Inter Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) Keith Wellington has confirmed that the 2020 edition of the Boys and Girls Athletics Championships is set to run from March 24 to 28. This period clashes with the FIFA date in March next year as the Reggae Boyz seek to stay active ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

According to the ISSA president, the JFF is aware of IAAS's plans. If the JFF secures a fixture in the March 2020 FIFA date, the match would either have to played outside of Kingston or overseas.
