Jamaica lose to Bermuda in third round Group 3 Davis Cup clash

Jamaica went down 2-1 to Bermuda in their third round Davis Cup Group 3 Americas Zone match-up in Paraguay.

Blaise Bicknell won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0 against Tariq Simmons. However, John Chin went down two sets to one to Daniel Phillips 1-6, 6-0, 4-6.

Bicknell and Chin lost the doubles in straight sets against Phillips and Richard Mallory 6-4, 6-2.

Jamaica will face the Dominican Republic next on Thursday. The Jamaicans are still in second place, winning five games and losing four, as the Dominican Republic continues to lead, having lost only one game, while winning eight.

Jamaica has to win the group to move on to Group 2.
