Jamaican Olympic boxer dies

Jamaican two-time Olympic boxer Oliver Wright is dead. RJR Sports understands that the 71-year-old, who represented Jamaica in the light heavyweight division at the 1968 Mexico and 1972 Munich Games, died in Atlanta on Friday after suffering a heart attack.

Wright, who won Central American & Caribbean Games gold medal in 1970, stopping Orester Pedrosa of Cuba in the final, is the second Jamaican Olympic boxer after former Sportsman of the Year George "Bunny” Grant to die this year.
