Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Spencer Darlington

Triple gold medallist from the 2023 World Championships Noah Lyles is the main draw for the upcoming Racers Grand Prix on June 1 at the National Stadium.

Lyles will contest the 100 metres which has been billed as the marquee event for this year's staging and will come up against World Champs bronze medallist Zharnel Hughes and finalist Oblique Seville.

The big event in the field for men will be the triple jump featuring Jamaica's teenage sensation Jaydon Hibbert, the World Under-20 record holder.

On the women's side, the main attraction will be the 100 metres featuring world indoor 60 metre champion Julien Alfred of St Lucia and national junior record holder Alana Reid.

Negotiations are currently underway to secure other top names for the meet which will feature a total of 13 events in a two and a half hour package starting at 7:00 pm

The meet which is classified as a World Continental Tour Silver  event, had its launch at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on Tuesday.
