Reggae Girlz move up in FIFA rankings

Jamaica's Reggae Girlz have moved one spot up to number 43 in the latest FIFA women's world rankings. The Jamaicans advanced despite losing all three matches in the recent Cup of Nations tournament in Australia. 

Two other teams in that tournament also made progress with Australia moving back into the top 10 after advancing two places from 12th, while the Czech Republic moved up one place to 27th. Spain, the 4th team at the tournament, remain at number 7.

The Reggae girls who are number one in the caribbean, remain at number five in concacaf behind the world number one the united states and canada at number 6.

mexico at number 32 and costa rica at 36, compelte the concacaf top 5. Meanwhile, Germany, Sweden, England and France complete the top 5 in the world. 

The next FIFA women's world rankings will be published on June 9.
