Jamaica's all-female elite shooting team, super six, created history at the Pan American Handgun Championships in Frostproof, Florida on Wednesday.
Competing for the first time at this level, the super six, comprising four policewomen and two civilians picked up bronze competing in the lady's production optics division.
The team of captain Sasha-Gay Mullings, Kayla Keane, Shayon Campbell, Renee Rhickie and Yeonnie Campbell, finished behind winners the United States and runners-up Brazil.
Meanwhile, Ryan Bramwell also made his way to the podium in the men's senior production optics division.
Bramwell grabbed silver behind Brazilian Augusto Ribas and Great Britain's Richard Ingram. Jamaica, sent a 26-member team that will return to the island on Friday.
