"Taxi" Lawrence calls on JFF to show respect and professionalism

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Simon Preston

Reggae Boy Kemar "Taxi" Lawrence is imploring the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) to give the senior team respect and show professionalism. Lawrence says these qualities are needed before the veterans return to the team.

Lawrence who is a senior member of the squad alongside veterans Andre Blake, Damion Lowe, Shamar Nicholson, Leon Bailey and others were missing from Jamaica's team for last Thursday's clash with the United States in Austria.

The JFF has reported that the saga with the senior players has to do with payments ahead of the CONCACAF Gold Cup and World Cup qualifiers. But according to Lawrence, money and payment is not the concern for the senior players.
