Thompson-Herah looking to create more history at Paris Olympics

2-time Olympic double sprint champion Elaine Thompson-Herah says she's fully focused on creating more history at the Paris Games this summer.

Thompson-Herah who secured the sprint double at the 2016 Rio Olympics and at the Tokyo Olympics three years ago, says she's feeling no pressure as she prepares to defend her Olympic sprint titles for a second time which would make her the first ever athlete to do so.

Now age 31, Thompson-Herah says she's looking to leave a legacy behind for younger Jamaican athletes.

Meanwhile, Thompson-Herah who has been working under the guidance of new coach Reynaldo Walcott since November 2023, is pleased with her programme thus far. Thompson-Herah is yet to open her 2024 season.
