Top brass of local sporting fraternity pay final respects to Hubert Lawrence

The top brass of the nation's sporting fraternity turned out at the St Catherine Cathedral of St Jago De La Vega on Saturdayto bid farewell to notable track and field commentator and author Hubert Lawrence.

The likes of multiple Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Sports Minister Olivia Grange and former JAAA president Dr Warren Blake were among those who shared fond memories as they paid their last respects to Lawrence. 

Lawrence who died on February 22, was laid to rest at the Meadowrest Memorial Gardens in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
