U20 Reggae Boyz officially eliminated

Jamaica's Under-20 Reggae Boyz are now out of contention for a place at this year's FIFA Under-20 World Cup finals to be held in New Zealand.

The Young Boyz were booted 2-0 by the United States who rekindled their push for a qualifying spot.

The Jamaicans were handed a major boost ahead of the kick-off after group leaders Panama beat Trinidad & Tobago to leave them within striking distance of the  host country. But a double strike from Romain Gall in the 33rd and 70th minutes condemned Jamaica to a costly defeat, which leaves them on one point from 4 matches.

Group leaders Panama secured their place in the last four with a 1-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago, which extended their perfect run in the qualifiers, while Guatemala blanked Aruba 2-0.
