Veteran table tennis coach Samuel Lamont says he’s very concerned about how far down the pecking order Jamaican table tennis has fallen.
Lamont says that it could be decades before Jamaica is represented at the pinnacle of the sport again.
With some stakeholders being disgruntled at the current state of affairs of the sport in the country, calls have been made for the Andrew Lue-led JTTA administration to step aside.
The latest such call has come from Jamaica College table tennis manager Kamal Rahymtulla. Both Lamont and Rahymtulla were speaking on Hitz 92 FM's Sports Grill on Tuesday.
Current JTTA president Andrew Lue has already indicated that he will not be seeking re-election when the next JTTA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held.
