WADA boss sees JADCO as regional standard-bearer

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Kayon Raynor

The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) has received high marks from president of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Witold Banka ahead of the two-day anti-doping forum, in Kingston.

Banka says the forum, which starts on Thursday, is aimed at bringing the other Caribbean nations into the fold at WADA. The forum has attracted 14 Ministers of Sports and their delegations from 19 Caribbean nations.

Banka has also singled out Jamaica, through JADCO, as the standard bearers in the Caribbean in the fight against doping.
