Bad Boy Records pioneer Sean "Diddy" Combs has shared with Vanity Fair Magazine, that he has plans to launch a new record label with a different purpose.
The 51-year-old entertainment mogul said the creation of the new label is to serve R&B artists only.
Combs who covers the September issue of the magazine said he believes R&B music which is an integral part of the African American culture has been abandoned.
He added that unlike past deals, there will be a 50/50 partnership with all artistes.
Diddy is set to release his R&B-centric album Off the Grid on September 24.
