Controversial documentary Framing Britney Spears, which sparked new interest in the pop star's conservatorship, and Oprah Winfrey's explosive interview with Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have both scored nominations for this year's Emmy Awards.
 
While Spears continues to fight for her freedom in court, Framing Britney Spears was nominated for Best Documentary and Best Picture Editing for a Non-Fiction Program.
 
The former Royals' revealing conversation with Oprah Winfrey has earned a nomination for Outstanding Hosted Non-Fiction Series or Special.
