Jay Z
Forbes Magazine is reporting that Jay Z's net worth has gone up by 40 per cent.
Coupled with the sale of TIDAL which saw him take home $297 million in cash and stock, the 51-year-old New Yorker recently sold 50% of his champagne brand, Armand de Brignac to luxury giant Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH).
Both deals helped lift his net worth from $1 billion to $1.4 billion.
