Shaggy among Jamaicans to be honoured at Jamaica Independence Gala in New York

Diamond-selling, multi-Grammy Award winning recording artist and dedicated philanthropist, Shaggy is among seven Jamaicans to be honoured at the upcoming Jamaica Independence Gala. The highly anticipated event is set for New York Hilton Midtown on Saturday, August 19 starting at 6:30 pm.

It's organised by the Consulate General of Jamaica in New York. The list of honourees, who according to the consulate have demonstrated unwavering commitment, remarkable talent, and unparalleled contributions in their respective fields also includes actress Sheryl-Lee Ralph.
