Jamaican e-learning companies EduFocal and One on One Educational Services have been named to Time Magazine's 2025 list of the world's top 350 education technology (edtech) companies.
They are the only Caribbean companies to make the list.
EduFocal, founded by CEO Gordon Swaby, ranked 225th on the prestigious list compiled by TIME and Global Research firm Statista.
The ranking assessed over 7,000 edtech companies worldwide, evaluating them on financial strength and industry impact.
Mr. Swaby called the honour a validation of his team's hard work and the trust of learners and partners.
Meanwhile, One on One Educational Services ranked 348th on the list of top edtech firms in what is now a $167 billion global industry.
CEO Ricardo Allen also welcomed the achievement.
