Eppley reports stronger first-quarter earnings

Eppley has reported stronger first-quarter earnings, driven by growth in its asset management, leasing and investment businesses.
 
The company posted net profit of $298 million for the three months ended March 31, 2026, an increase of 21 per cent over the corresponding period last year.
 
Gross investment income increased by 16 per cent to $464 million, compared with the corresponding period last year.
 
The company manages a diversified proprietary investment portfolio, valued at approximately $22.5 billion, with exposure to real estate, infrastructure, mezzanine credit and asset management.
 
Looking ahead, the company says it remains focused on expanding its lending, leasing, real estate, infrastructure and asset management businesses while pursuing new investment opportunities to drive future earnings growth.
