JMEA president highlights electricity woes for manufacturers after Hurricane Beryl

Some local manufacturers are reeling from the after effects of Hurricane Beryl.

President of the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Sydney Thwaites, says the main issue his members are reporting, is the lack of electricity.

He says while assessments are ongoing, Manchester and St. Elizabeth appear to be the most affected.

He says in addition to light and power, his members say the transportation eco-system also needs to be restored.
