JSE Index advanced by 3,466 points on Friday

The JSE Index advanced by 3,466 points on Friday, while the Junior Market advanced by 61 points.

There was trading in 109 stocks: 48 advanced, 35 declined and 26 trading firm.

Kintyre Holdings was the volume leader.
