Chief Executive Officer of the Mayberry Investments Limited, Gary Peart, says the company is experiencing a turnaround in its financial fortunes due to a strong third quarter performance.
To support this conclusion, he said the group recorded net profits attributable to the stockholders of $585.8 million during the nine-month period which ended on September 30 of this year, compared to the net loss attributable to stockholders of $2.4 billion during the same period last year.
This is because Mayberry Jamaican Equities Limited generated comprehensive income of $1.2 billion during the third quarter and cut its losses for the nine-month period under review to only $11 million from $4.1 billion during the same period last year.
