Opposition Spokesman on Science, Technology & Innovation Andre Haughton is calling for greater protection of the country's vital telecommunications infrastructure.
He is also recommending harsher penalties for those who vandalise infrastructure.
This call follows the recent vandalising of Digicel's and Flow's telecoms network, which resulted in significant economic losses.
