The JSE Index advanced by 2,595 points, the Junior Market Index declined by 33 points.
The 46 advancing shares were led by A.S. Bryden and Sons Holdings USD, First Rock Real Estate Investments USD, Proven Group USD, Salada Foods and Stationery and Office Supplies.
Eppley Caribbean Property Fund, Caribbean Cream, JPS 7% preference shares, JPS 9.5%, and Lasco Financial Services were among the 52 losing shares.
