The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) has indicated that the USA and China were the country's major trading partners on the merchandise import side during the first nine months of last year.
Imports from the USA accounted for US$2.12 billion or 38.39% of total imports.
It says imports from China accounted for US$510.76 million or 9.25%.
