Third World to be honoured at Philadelphia Summer Reggae Festival

International Reggae Ambassadors Third World will be presented with a citation for excellence and invaluable contribution to the music industry by Philadelphia representative Kenyatta Johnson.

Third World, whose biggest hit song Now That We Found Love was produced in Philadelphia by music icons Gamble and Huff, will headline the Philadelphia Summer Reggae Festival at the Dell Music Centre on August 13.

The festival is billed as a benefit for the non-profit Read Across Jamaica organization and is being promoted by Jamaican born radio disc jockey Oliver Millwood, for over 20 years.

Mr. Johnson is a child advocate and vice chairman of the Children and Youth Committee of the United States House of Representatives.

The festival will also feature The Original Wailers, Maxi Priest, Al Anderson and Junior Marvin.
