14,000 farmers receive post Hurricane Beryl relief

 
Agriculture Minister Floyd Green says more than 14,000 farmers, affected by Hurricane Beryl, benefited from relief items up to last week.
 
The Ministry of Agriculture has been assisting the farmers through the Rural Agricultural Development Authority, Banana Board and Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority. 
 
Mr Green says the farmers were provided with seeds, fertilisers and chemicals.
 
The Agriculture Minister says coffee and banana farmers also received assistance.
