A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Ellerslie Gardens and Tawes Meadows in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
The curfew will remain until 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
NORTH: From the roundabout, travel along Spanish Town Bypass about 600 metres, to the intersection of Williams Street and Spanish Town Bypass.
EAST: From the intersection of Williams Street and Spanish Town Bypass, travel about 800 metres, to the intersection of Williams Street and French Street.
SOUTH: From the intersection of French Street and Williams Street, travel about 900 metres to the intersection of Oxford Road and Spanish Town Bypass.
WEST: From the intersection of Oxford Road and Spanish Town Bypass, travel about 500 metres to the roundabout.
Persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authourized by the commander enforcing the curfew.
