All EOJ offices to be open Saturday, September 28 for voter registration

The Electoral Office of Jamaica has announced that its offices in all constituencies will be open on Saturday, September 28 to allow eligible persons to register to vote.

The offices will operate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The EOJ says the deadline to register for the upcoming publication of the Voters' List is Monday, September 30.

Anyone who wishes to be added to the Voters' List may apply at the nearest EOJ constituency office.

The EOJ says those who miss the September 30 deadline, will have to wait until next year to be added to the Voters' List.

Prospective electors are being advised to wear bright or dark-coloured clothing to facilitate the process of taking their photographs.

Persons already on the Voters' List are being reminded not to re-apply.

The EOJ says registered electors should also use the opportunity to collect their renewed Voter ID cards.
